Juanita Fay Kirby, having lived a long and accomplished life, died Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 92 years of age. She was born in Royse City, Texas to Garland Daniel and Velma (McCord) Werner on Tuesday, March 8, 1927. Juanita was a woman who possessed the prowess to see things through. At the age of 12 her family moved to a small farm in Kirkland, Texas before moving to Dallas and getting married at an early age of 16. I am saddened by the passing of Dr. Kirby. She was a fine lady and great to work with. I had the pleasure of working with her on and off for 6 years. She was a character and I really enjoyed knowing her. Her work family has missed her. Prayers to her family, I hope you all find comfort during this difficult time.

Dr. Kirby will be sorely missed. We were fortunate to have had her talents applied at the Mexia State Supported Living Center . She touched some of our toughest patients with her special magic moving them toward health. She will remain a role model for me. Her family should be aware she spoke lovingly and often of them.
Until we meet again, Becky McKown,MD
