Obituary

Dyan Logann Matthews was born June 29, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Lesley and Geneva Logann. She passed away April 29, 2020 at the age of 68. Dyan graduated from MacArthur High School and attended Mountain View College. Dyan was truly a free spirit with a unique personality, but most of all she was a kind woman who absolutely adored her husband and their dogs. Dyan also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, most often by sharing a great meal that always had entertaining conversations. We will miss her sense of humor and her infectious laughter.

Dyan is preceded in death by her father, Lesley Robert Logann, and mother, Geneva (Hawkins) Logann. She is survived by sister, Charlotte Logann; brother, Richard Logann; husband, Eddie Matthews; her sweet dogs and loving friends.

Due to the Coronavirus, the family is not able to have a funeral to celebrate the life of this special woman. The family asks if you wish to honor Dyan that donations be made in her name to the SPCA of Texas.

Dearest Richard & Charlotte, my heart was deeply saddened to learn of Dyan's passing. She was a special person in her own way. She was always so cheerful and witty. "Mimi" always had a special place in her heart for Dyan too. She was too young to leave so soon, but she's at peace now. Mike & I love you both and will be praying for God's peace to comfort you.

The first memory I have is Dyan's LAUGH. She was always laughing, joking, cheering everybody up, telling jokes. Her happy spirit somehow cut through so many of the challenges that life threw her way. The world needs more of that sense of joy and will be dimmer without her in it.

Memories I have of Dyan are playing together at Granny's house and when Uncle Leslie would bring the Family to Arkansas to visit my Mom and Granny. We did have fun. Dyan and I kept in touch as we got older
I know that Eddie was her world and she loved him dearly. Peggy loved her dogs
Yes she had a laugh that identified Dyan. I am praying for everyone that loved my sweet cousin
Dyan will be missed. Love you cousin
