William Craig Ragsdale “Rags” was born on May 27, 1973 and passed away on December 14, 2019. He was the beloved son of Tom Ragsdale and Heidi and Gene Marshall. Craig was preceded in death by Gene Marshall. He is survived by Scott and Kim Marshall, Allison and Paul Copello, Megan and Jeffrey Jones, and Annie and Nathan Heflin. He was proud Uncle Bubba to Mason, Maddy, Max, Kate, Caroline, Ruthie, Mary-Cameron, Rhett and Knox. He is also survived by Veronica Jenkins and her children Jake and Melina who he loved very much.
Craig was a graduate of Nimitz High School and Tarleton State University. He was a proud member of the Nimitz Vikings and Tarleton Texans football teams. While studying at Tarleton he was a founding member of Sigma Chi fraternity.
Craig touched so many lives with his transparent love for others. He always gave 110% to those he cared about whether friend or family. He will be remembered for his ability to see the good in everyone around him, for how he gave without expecting anything in return, and how he truly loved without judgement.
Craig was a member of Reset Church and grew in his relationship with Jesus under the ministry of his pastor Victor Plump. We are resting in the assurance that he had a saving relationship with Jesus and that he is restored in Heaven with our Savior. Craig will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.
