Obituary for Wesley Dyer

Wesley Dyer, age 92, died peacefully on Saturday, December 14th, 2019. He was born in Littlefield, Texas to Rollie Radford and Effie Maudine (Stone) Dyer on Friday, January 21, 1927. Wesley proudly served in the U.S. Army, serving during the occupational forces in Japan after WWII. He was a long-time member of Plymouth Park United Methodist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge 1218 A.F. & A.M. in Irving. Wesley was a tinkerer, a ham radio operator and was a known watchmaker in the 1950’s. He opened a used car lot in 1960, and he worked as an owner, operator and a salesman for 33 years until his retirement. Wesley is fondly remembered for his country and blue grass guitar playing. He is preceded in death by his wife Nettie in 2000, 7 siblings and son Samuel Edward Dyer. Left to cherish his memory is son Robert Dyer and spouse Darrell Burns; son Jimmy Dyer and spouse Amy Ruland Dyer; sister Rosemary Couch; grandchild Andrea Keith and spouse Chad; grandchild Jeffery Dyer and spouse Irish; greatgrandchildren Lockland, Adian, Rowan, River, Inara and Johnny; daughter in Law Belinda Havins Dyer.
