Obituary for Wanda Olive Glenn

Wanda Olive Glenn passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones July 9, 2020 after a long battle with kidney failure. She was born May 20, 1933 to father, Oliver Wilson, and mother, Willie Catherine Seward in Dallas, Texas. Wanda loved horse racing and owned many of her own racehorses in the early 90s. She loved to dance, and her favorite music genre was 50s rock and roll. Wanda loved traveling to beaches and Las Vegas to play the slots along with her traveling she loved to shop. She was a dedicated member of the Irving Ambucs and the Elk Lodge.

Wanda is preceded in death by her first husband, Louis Frank Olive, brother, John Wilson, and parents Oliver and Willie Catherine. She is survived by husband, Wayne Glenn; brother Robert Wilson; daughter, Deborah Huddleston Olive and husband Scott; step sons: Patrick Glenn; and Gavin Glenn and wife Mary; step grandchildren, Gus, and Finn; grandchild, Stacy Ihnken and husband Jason; great grandchildren, Kason, Emerie, and Payton; grandchild, Jeff Chandler and wife Tiffany; great grandchildren, Brennen, and Blaine; grandchild, Jim Huddleston and wife Nikki; great grandchildren, Kaylie, Scott, Nathan, Jenna, and Adelyn; grandchild, Kristina LaTorre and husband Luis; great grandchildren Kayda, Lily, and Sebastian; Stepson Gary Olive and Mike Olive; Grandchildren Glenda Olive, Misty Olive and Steven Olive, and Great Grandkids Michael and Kenneth George. as well as numerous other family and friends who love and will miss Wanda dearly.

A graveside service will be held 10:00am, Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd. A viewing will be available an hour prior to the graveside for attendees observing the safe distancing and face mask order.
