Obituary for Velma Lee Masters (Bachman)

Velma Lee Masters, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother departed this life on July 31, 2019 to be with her Lord Jesus Christ and Savior. She was born on January 5, 1930 in Miami, Oklahoma. She lived in Irving, Texas for 57 years. She worked as an accounting manager at Recognition Equipment, Incorporated for 25 years retiring in 1990. She was a member of Oakview Baptist Church in the Joy Sunday school class. Those preceding her in death include her parents Elsie Ellen Hughes Bachman and Clarence Verl Bachman along with a host of aunts and uncles. She was also preceded in death by an infant son Allen Lee Covington, infant daughter Kathy Eugenia Covington, grand-daughter Julie Anna Rich of Allen, Texas, and son-in-law Marion Ladell Morgan of Columbus, Kansas. She is survived by Gwen Morgan of Columbus, Kansas (daughter), Cindy Davis (Robert) of Irving, Texas (daughter), and Steve Manny of Allen, Texas (son). Grandchildren include Marianne Medina (Rick) of Joplin, Missouri; Cheryl Lee (Tommy) of Columbus, Kansas; David Fullmer (Sarah) of Marietta, Georgia; Valerie Moore (Gary) of Pilot Point, Texas; Douglas Fullmer (Chelsea) of Irving, Texas; Robert Fullmer (Melissa) of Roanoke, Texas; 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2945 S. Sunbeck Circle, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. An inurnment will take place at Gar Cemetery, in Miami, Oklahoma at a later date and time.
