Obituary for Robert Eric "Bad Bob" Fronckowiak

Robert Eric Fronckowiak, affectionately known as “Bad Bob”, died at the age of 57, on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Robert Bruno and Janet Elaine (Krapf) Fronckowiak on Saturday, March 24, 1962. Robert was a reliable, loyal, patriotic man, and proudly served in the United States Army. He always looked out for and had the backs of those he served with during many combats while in the service. Robert was so much fun to be around and wore a smile most often, however he was not one to mince words, instead he chose to say exactly what was on his mind. He enjoyed and had an admiration for his guns, was a huge Black Sabbath fan, and rarely ever missed watching Fox News. Robert, above all cherished the love of his life, wife of 33 years and best friend Kathy. He was a lover of dogs, and his German Shepard, Black Jack, held a special place in his heart. Robert eventually, with the help of Kathy, gained an affinity for cats and named the first one Sammy after Sammy Hagar. Many things will be remembered about “Bad Bob” including his nose, and if you ever had the pleasure of meeting him you would most likely never forget him. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten by his family and those that knew him. Robert is preceded in death by his father Robert Bruno Fronckowiak. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Kathy Fronckowiak; mother Janet Elaine Fronckowiak; sister Jeanne Hayes and husband Chris; sister Jane Cade and husband Larry; sister Ann Craig; sister Karen Glazier and husband Thomas; brother Carl Fronckowiak along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and loving friends. The family will receive friends between 6:oo and 8:00pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Irving. A funeral service will be held 12:30pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 also at the funeral home. A committal with Military Honors will be 2:15pm, Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mtn Creek Pkwy in Dallas.
