Obituary for Ricky White

Rick White passed away January 2, 2020 surrounded by his family. Rick was born on February 9, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Roy Neil White and Frances Chambers White. Rick was a great cook. He enjoyed baking pies and cakes, but BBQ was his specialty. To find him outside next to the smoker was not a surprise. Rick was a very loyal person who found great value in his relationships with family and friends. He had a good nature and believed strongly in sticking up for the underdog; he would readily fight on their behalf if needed. Rick was a master ASE certified automotive specialist and was always available to help those in need of his mechanical expertise. Rick was well adapted to his surroundings and balanced his interactions with people. That being said, Rick had a good sense of humor but wouldn’t tolerate a bad joke (Eddie). He will be dearly missed by those who had the opportunity to know him. Rick is preceded in death by his father Roy White and wife Tina White. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, mother Frances Powell of Irving; daughter Kayla White of Springfield Missouri; sons Josh White of Springfield, Missouri; Jason Moore and Ricky Ibaugh both of Dayton, Ohio; brother Garry Edward White of Irving and sister Susan Renee White also of Irving; Seven Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews extended family and many loving friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 10:00 am to Noon at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home just prior to the funeral service at Noon at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens
