Richard Eugene Gregory, age 76, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 15, 2019. Richard was born in Dallas, Texas on March 24, 1943 to Curtis Edward Gregory and Pauline Mamie Davis. Richard was a die-hard republican and one of the “good ole’ boys”. He would argue with just about anyone. He was funny and witty. Richard loved his animals, especially his dog who he treated better than his wife. He rarely, if ever, met a stranger. He would say just about anything and didn’t tolerate silence well. Richard really enjoyed being around his family and never missed the opportunity to spend time with those he loved. He made friends pretty easy. He was a true redneck and proud of it. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He met the love of his life when he was ten years old, and later married her and was by her side for the remainder of his days. Underneath his rugged exterior, Richard was a true gentleman. Richard is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are wife Rachael Ayala Gregory; daughter Michelle Gregory and husband Chris Mitchell; daughters Francine Fivash and Diana Jablonski; grandson Corbin Mitchell; grandchildren David Blagg and Serino Suarez; six great-grandchildren; brother Curtis Gregory Jr.; sister Martha Louann Barbaria; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.
