Patricia Ann Turkovich “Trish” of Thousand Oaks, California passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at 62 years of age after an aggressive but courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia. She was born in Texas City, Texas to Richard and Lorraine Henderson on October 29, 1957. Trish had worked many years as an Elementary Education Teacher, and a Special Education Teacher. She found joy during her service to the Lord as a Church Ministry leader. Trish gave much of her time working with the poor and going on mission trips. She truly had a servants’ heart, and this showed through her mission work in Sierra Leone, numerous mission trips to Haiti, as well as the Dominican Republic. Trish loved the un-loveable. She celebrated the simple things in life and took great pleasure in making others happy. Trish enjoyed going to the beach, ice cold sweet tea, trips to the Dollar Tree, and above all she cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Henderson and sister Mary Cae Henderson. Left to cherish her memory and the time they had with her are her daughter Jessica Pielsticker (Jeff Barker) of Dallas, Texas; daughter Angela Philpott (Brian) of Thousand Oaks, California; brother Rick Henderson of St. Albans, West Virginia; brother John Henderson of Boyton Beach, Florida; sister Joan Isble (Mike) of Scott Depot, West Virginia; sister Anne Siegle (Joe) of Silver Spring, Maryland; brother Joe Henderson (Tammy) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; brother Mike Henderson of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and 5 beloved grandchildren Cruz, Grey, Wells, Hutch, Landon as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held 10:00am, Monday, June 15, 2020 at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Ave. in Dallas, Texas.
