Obituary for Ozell Ritter

Ozell Ritter, age 85, died on Friday, June 21, 2019. Ozell was born on December 9, 1933 in Wayne, Oklahoma to Cynthia Maria (Beaver) Ritter and Lonnie Cleo Ritter. Ozell spent his working career as a sales tech in the publishing industry. He started out with Taylor Publishing, then later went on to work for Lee Master Litho Supply who was acquired by Flint Ink. In 2005, Ozell retired from Flint Ink after working twenty plus years since starting with Lee Master Litho. Ozell also worked as Ball Boy for over fifty years, working with the equipment manager of the Dallas Cowboys. Ozell is preceded in death by his wife Jo Dell (Hood) Ritter (2007), brothers Lonnie Ritter, Dale Ritter, and Billy Ritter. Left to cherish his memory are sons Randy Ozell Ritter and Katherine Musick, Raymond Dale Ritter and wife Samantha; grandchildren Ryan Ozell Ritter and wife Stephanie, Kristen Ritter; great grandchildren Reid Ozell Ritter, Hudson Joseph Ritter; sisters Loretta Morris, Mary Gayle Flanary; as well as many other extended family and loving friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Smith Cemetery in Irving, Texas.
