Marshall lived across the street from me at 2531 Searcy Dr. He was my best friend during most of our teenage years. We played a lot of sand lot baseball, basketball and football together. We have many fond memories with some of the best times of our lives. I tried to locate him many years ago and could not find him as we had both married and moved away from each other. I did meet his wife, Deborah, shortly after they were married but she may not remember me.
My deepest condolences to his wife and family.

Uncle Marshall more than just an Uncle to me. A friend in time of need, fatherly advice with love, and big brother attributes. I loved Uncle Marshall not because he was just family but because of who he was. I will cherish always the memories of his dealings with me and his family. He was soft spoken but heard loudly in my heart. Kind and gentle yet strong is wisdom. He is at peace in the arms of Jesus now and joy without tears for eternity.
