Obituary

Marnie Grace Harrison Keane grew her wings and flew home to God on August 27, 2020.

Marnie was an incredible mother to her children and her children’s friends. Everyone outside of her three daughters knew her as their second mom. She took care of everyone around her. If you needed a hug, a shoulder to cry on, a laugh, a venting session, or advice on life, Marnie was there. She wouldn’t let you leave her sight until she knew you were OK. It was the reason why so many looked to her when they needed that motherly comfort.

She was a Godly woman who taught God’s strength to her children. Marnie wrote devotionals every other day and read the bible while she sipped her coffee, highlighting, underlining, and making notes. 2 Samuel 22:33 "It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure." It is because of Marnie that her three girls knew how strong they could walk through life.

Marnie Grace loved all things involving music. Her music library ranged from ABBA to Mercy Me to George Strait. She didn’t mind loud music. On “cleaning days” at the house, she would blast a music channel and she and her daughters would sing at the top of their lungs while they vacuumed, dusted, finished their chores. She sang loudly with perfect pitch. She played piano beautifully. The songs she played sounded like her personality; Beautiful, encouraging, calming but strong. There was never a day when Marnie and the girls didn’t listen to good tunes, whether that be from the piano, the car radio, TV music, or singing A Capella.

Marnie’s biggest accomplishment was teaching her daughters how to love others. She instilled the importance of caring, forgiving, and unconditionally loving others on a daily basis. It was her sweet notes in her girls’ lunch boxes, “I love you, have a GREAT day!! Remember how BEAUTIFUL you are!” The text messages at random times of the day, late night phone calls, early morning coffee on the porch. The moments she shared with her daughters were full of love and laughter.

As she has moved on to be home with God, her beautiful and loving spirit will be remembered by all. The family will celebrate her life with a graveside ceremony at Flint Creek Cemetery, The Grove, Texas and request any memorials be given to your home church or favorite charity.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Lt. Col. (RTD) James Nicholas and Grace Clawson Boccieri. Marnie is survived by her parents Donald Wayne and Beverly Boccieri Adams. Her children, Maddison Grace Brewster, Josie Jean Keane, and Genni Ann Keane. Her granddaughter, Rylee Faith Keane and her husband Charles Keane. Her brother, Bryan Keith Adams and his wife Sherry Elaine Adams and their children. Her aunt Brenda Boccieri Costin and her son, Christopher James Knodel. Her uncle Michael Boccieri and his children. She loved a large extended family, many friends, her cat Annabelle, and dog Bella. Rest in peace sweet spirit.
