Mark Willcox, age 63, died on Monday, August 5, 2019. Mark was born on July 5, 1956 in Denison, Texas to Martha Lou (Steed) Willcox and Waid Oscar Willcox. Mark loved his family, especially his grandkids. He was a patient man with a very kind soul. He possessed a great sense of humor. He was a powerful inspiration to others and recognized a good teaching moment. He was a wonderful person and a loyal friend. He taught much about tools, mechanics, carpentry, and life. He had the uncanny ability to turn a dark day into a jolly good day. Mark is preceded in death by his parents and brother in law Ernest Gallatin. Left to cherish his memory are daughter Misty Lackey and husband Dustin; sisters Judy Gallatin, Vicki Miller and husband Todd; grandkids Trent and Quinn Lackey; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, family and loving friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 8, 2019 in the Chapel of Plymouth Park Baptist Church, 1714 N. Story Road, Irving, TX 75061.
