Obituary

Margaret Spears, 93, passed away on March 1, 2020. Margaret was born in Waxahachie, Texas on December 11, 1926, daughter of the late Edward Burl White and Celestine White. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Ray Max Spears, her brother Edward Burl White, Jr. and her beloved sister-in-law Nancy White.

Margaret graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1944. She married Ray Spears on June 12, 1948. She stayed home and raised her daughter until Sandra reached age 10. Then, they moved to Dallas, and Margaret began her work in banking. She ended her career working for Dallas Independent School District. She is a current member of the First Baptist Church of Euless. She resided in Irving, Texas for 42 years and enjoyed retirement with her husband. Life's greatest joy to her was spending time with her family. Her grandchildren (and later her great grandchildren) brought her great joy throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughter Sandra Rosellini and husband Rocky; granddaughters Angela Gambaro and husband Scott, Amy Rosellini and husband Ben, Abby Rosellini; her great grandchildren Gage, Gigi and Greta Gambaro; Madelyn, Brayden and Owen Bain; Harry and Rocky Lancaster; Sydney Ingle; and her many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at Ben Brown's Memorial Funeral Home 707 N. MacArthur Blvd in Irving, Texas on Wednesday, March 11 at 2:00 pm.
