Obituary for Madelon Dayle Berry (Chase)

Madelon Dayle Berry passed away peacefully, after a long illness on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 91 years of age. She was Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on Tuesday, March 19, 1929 to Harvey Forrest and Geneva “Jean” (Mallow) Chase. The family then moved to Harris County, Texas where Madelon graduated from Cypress Fairbanks High School. In 1954, She and her family moved to Irving, Texas where they settled, built a family and created a happy home. In the early 90’s, Madelon moved to Cedar Creek Lake, where she lived out the remainder of her years. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and best friend to many. Madelon is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Jean Chase, sister Barbara Edwards, brother Harvey Chase, her loving and devoted husband of 32 years, Tommy Berry, beloved daughter-in-law Debi Hill and son-in-law Dennis Migl. She is survived by her son Dicky Hill, daughter Sandra Knox and husband Jacky, son Derek Hill and wife Candy, daughter Susan Hill, and son Wendell Hill, as well as 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous extended family and loving friends. A private funeral service for the family will be held at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 2:30pm, Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd. in Irving, TX.
