Yesterday, I lost my Best Friend, the one that I could tell everything to and she would listen and never make judgements, she would just say think about all the consequences of everything that you to do or say before you make that choice. Even though I traveled the world, we would speak on the phone at least a couple of times every week. Without knowing, she would say, "You must be driving", because she knew that I always had time for her when I was driving. Every Mother's Day was Special, but also every "Father's Day was Special as well, because she raised all five of us on her own with no help, so she was everything to us. When Tommy came into our life's, it was a blessing. I never saw Mom happier than she was with their life together at Cedar Creek Lake. We had so many great times there and some that Mom wasn't so happy with us. Like one fine sunny day we were all down there and we were just going to get rid of the snakes along the walkway along the water and we (Dicky & I) just poured gasoline in the holes along the walkway and had one of the great grandsons (Brayden) just throw a match to see if it would light....oh it did light, the loud boom and the sidewalk moved 6" and low and behold Mom was yelling and banging and screaming at us while she was standing in the house watching out the window as to what we were doing, she did not approve. So, she knew we weren't perfect, just some days better than others. Below are a few pictures of the times that we always cherished together. She was one special Mother.
