Lula Mae Raven passed away for be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the age of 98. She was born to Jessie David Chandler and Mamie Elizabeth Chandler (Cates) Saturday, November 5, 1921 in Sulphur Bluff Texas. Lula married the love of her life Joseph Raven in 1944 and was married to Joseph for over 50 years. She was a loving wife and mother who loved her family deeply. She lived in Irving Texas for 51 years. Lula was passionate about her faith and for her love of God.

Lula is preceded in death by her father, Jessie David Chandler; mother, Mamie Elizabeth Chandler (Cates); loving husband, Joseph Raven, and son, Joseph Wade Raven. She is survived by her daughter, Julia Rebecca Glasgow and husband Glen A. Johns, former son-in-law, David Glasgow; granddaughter, Crystal Simnacher and husband Jeff; granddaughter, Amber Adcock and husband Matt; granddaughter, Danielle Patee and husband Matthew; grate grandchildren: Emma Adcock, Noah Adcock, Averie A., Carlie Patee, Amelia Patee, Mckenna Patee, as well as other family and loving friends who will miss Lula dearly.

Funeral service to be held at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, 24, 2020. Due to COVID-19 regulations this service is not open to the public.
