Lola Daily of Irving passed away May 19, 2019. She was born on July 24, 1931 in Hurst, Texas to Charles M. Stearns and Effie Dee (Richardson) Stearns. She was a member of Bible Way Chapel where she was very active and also worked in the church office. She enjoyed reading, especially westerns and liked to sew and bake. She was famous for her chocolate pie and was awarded for her creation by the Irving Independent School District. She is preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law William Baker. She leaves behind to cherish her memory husband of 71 years Bobby Daily; brothers Charles and Richard Stearns; daughter Sharon Baker; son Tom Daily and wife Joette; grandchildren Tammy Turney and husband Robert, Christene “Christy” Bauer and husband William, Erick Daily and wife Patti, Jenna Daily, Erin Daily, Autumn Rasmussen and J.W. Baker; great-grandchildren Hayley Campbell and husband Tyler, Benjamin Turney and wife Laura, Samuel Turney, Brody Bauer, William Bauer Jr. and wife Alyssa, Ethan Daily, Elizabeth Daily, Soren Rasmussen, Ryker Rasmussen, Anjia Rasmussen, Isabelle Daily, and a great-great granddaughter Adelyn Bauer; and many loving friends and extended family. The family will receive friends from Noon until 2:00 pm on Friday May 24, 2019 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home prior to the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm.
