Jose Uriegas, age 78 passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on Monday, October 20, 1941. Jose moved to Irving in 1970, where he remained a resident until 2010. He was a devote Catholic, and had attended St. Lukes catholic Church, while in Irving. Those who knew him, lovingly recall Jose enjoyment of working and the love he held for his family. A known gentleman, he will be greatly missed by those who know and love him. Jose is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Maria Uriegas and brother Ruben Uriegas. Left to cherish his memory are his son Danny Sanchez of Irving; daughter Diana Sanchez of Dallas; son Joe Uriegas of Dallas; sister Janie Moreno of Sidney; sister Susie Morales of San Antonio; brother Jesse Uriegas of Houston as well as numerous extended family and friends.
