Obituary for Jordan Andrew Turner

Jordan Andrew Turner, age 32, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020. He was born in Cedar Hill, Texas to James and Christie (Stockton) Turner on Wednesday, April 29, 1987. Jordan was a huge football and baseball fan. He loved keeping up with both the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. He was affectionately known as “Jay” by his friends. The only music he didn’t care for was country. He possessed a larger than life personality that manifested in his care for others, and the genuine ways he respected people. He would engage in a Texas Hold’em tournament at the drop of a hat. Seeing a spider would send him out of his skin. He was somewhat rebellious at times but that never interfered with his love for family. As a young lad he was a talented baseball player. When he was able to work, he did so with a strong ethic. Jordan will certainly be missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory are his parents James and Christie Turner; brother Jarrod Turner; long time girlfriend Emily Williams as well as numerous other loving relatives and loyal friends. A gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date, please continue to check back for an updated date and time. The family request memorial donations to the Magdalen House at www.magdalenhouse.org.
