Jo Ann Baker served her family and possessed a strong love for her grandchildren. She was gifted with a mind for good business and was very thorough and organized in her approach to life. She was certainly the driving force behind Baker Tree Service along side her family. Jo Ann was an Irving resident for an excess of 45 years. She believed strongly in celebrating the accomplishments of her family and carried her camera to document what she considered to be the significant moments in the lives of those she loved. She had no problem saying what needed to be said the way it needed to be said to whomever it needed to be said. She was a woman of great integrity who never waivered in what she believed. Her consistence revealed a powerful pattern that others would stand to benefit from. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

Jo Ann is preceded in death by her loving husband Henry Earl Baker; mother, Dorothy Marvin; and stepdaughter, Jakki Esmaili. She is survived by, son, James Baker and wife Lourdes; daughter, Jennifer Benningfield and wife Andrea; son in law, Mehran Esmaili; grandchildren: Parisa Esmaili and husband Tim Douglas, Philip Esmaili, Asher Roberts, D’Arcy Roberts, Jude Baker, Pia Baker, and Noah Baker; brother, Jim Hall; niece, Tanner Fiehler; nephew, Zack Fiehler, and numerous other extended family and loving friends.
