Jeffrey Moss, age 60, died peacefully the morning of Monday, November 18, 2019. He was born in Converse, Louisiana on Friday, November 13, 1959. Jeffrey proudly served active duty in the United States Marines between 1977 and 1981, to which at that time he was an active reserve. He was a great cook, his specialties were fried turkeys and his “killer” steaks. Jeffrey enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends and will lovingly be remembered for being a loving son, father, brother and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his wife Susan Davenport. Left to cherish his memory are daughter Gina Mencarini; son Russell Moss and wife Rebecka; daughter Sarah Moss; 3 granddaughters, Fay, Amber, and Katherine; 1 grandson James; mother Dora Jacobs; father Kester Strange; brother Brady Moss; 2 nephews Jacob and Andre Moss along with numerous extended family and loving friends. The family request memorial donations to the Parkland Hospital in Jefferey’s name.
