Irene Anderson Coughlin was born in New Britain, Connecticut on April 10, 1928 to George and Frieda Anderson. She died on Friday, May 17, 2019. In 1948 she married Robert J. (“Bob”) Coughlin. They moved to Irving, Texas in 1957. Irene was employed by Motorola C & E Inc. for twenty-eight years as secretary to the controller and she made many lifelong friends there. She was an active member of Rejoice Lutheran Church in Coppell. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Coughlin, her parents, her sister Ruth O’Brien and her brother Leonard Anderson. She is survived by her daughter Merris Guidice and granddaughter Katie Guidice both of Coppell, her brother Wallace Anderson of Torrington, CT and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Rejoice Lutheran Church, 532 East Sandy Lake Road, Coppell, Texas. A reception to follow in the fellowship hall.
