Gether “Danny” Abimael Verver
Danny was born on May 23, 1937 in San Marcos, TX and died June 5, 2020 in Grand Prairie, TX at age 83. He was the first born son of Gumaro Verver and Margarita Anguiano Verver. Danny lived in Irving, TX most of his life, attended Irving High School and was a long time member of First United Methodist Church of Irving. In May 1958 he married Vivian Marie Gates. Danny joined the National Guard and in 1961 was placed on active duty at Fort Polk, LA during the Cuban Missile crisis. His career as a photographer working for Gary and Clark Photography and later Bob Rice Photography allowed him to meet many people photographing weddings, and business and personal portraits. Danny was predeceased by his parents, brothers Lonnie Verver and Carlos Verver and an infant brother. He is survived by his son Dana Verver, daughter Kimberly Verver Weiner, son-in-law Terry Weiner, brother David Verver and his wife Carolyn Verver, sister Nina Carelock, granddaughter Jill Dawson and her husband David Dawson, grandson PJ Weiner, great-grandchildren Oliver Dawson and Hannah Dawson, ex-wife Vivian Verver, nieces and nephews Temi Russell, Craig Verver, Kevin Verver, Jeff Verver, Shannon Sherwood, Larry Verver, Liza Clark, and a multitude of cousins.
