Obituary

Frank P. Eichberger, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family and friends on Friday, July 24, 2020, after his battle with cancer at 62 years of age. He was born in Sacramento, California to Frank P. Eichberger and Doris Eck on Saturday, December 21, 1957.
Frank entered the United States Marine Corps at the end of 1976, where he proudly served his country, until his honorable discharge in 1981. After his services in the U.S. Marines, Frank moved to Irving, Texas, where he began his life. On Saturday, September 27, 1986, Frank married the love of his life, Donna, marking the beginning of both of their lives as a family that would later grow not only in love but in numbers as well. He was a dedicated and hard worker for the City of Grand Prairie in the stormwater department, but during his downtime, he enjoyed hanging out with friends, riding motorcycles, and tinkering around the house, but above all, he loved spending time with his family. Frank will be lovingly
remembered for his big-hearted, caring, and most compassionate nature and giving personality. He was such a joy to be around and will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother Doris and husband Cleon; father Frank and wife Irene; his beloved wife of 33 years, Donna Eichberger; son Roland and wife Nellie; son Russell; son J.J.; sister Janice Matson and husband Rob; niece Brook and nephew Brad 5 grandchildren; Chilsea; Angelika; Jace; Chloe; Preston and three great-grandchildren Penelope, King and Prudence; brother in law Omar Cabello; sister in law Rhonda Cabello; brother in law Jimmy Ziegenfuss; brother in law Billy Ziegenfuss; mother in law Mary Young as well as numerous extended family and loving friends.

Frank was the closest thing to a brother that I have ever known. He was with me at with my first marriage , with me at Lone Star Gas, he was there when Shannon was born, and always there throughout the years.. He was Best Man at mine and Glenda's wedding, He was my Dive buddy, he was my Dance partner. He was born on Dec 21st, and me on the 25th, and we always laughed and joked when we talked...joke about us getting older and how I was the "old fart", and senile , but I would tell him I was older and more experienced..😂. I will miss you so much .
