Ethan Andrew Cobb, 27, beloved son, brother, nephew and step-brother, left this earth Monday, April 13, 2020 leaving a hole in the lives of his family and friends. Ethan was born June 1, 1992 to Rebecca Edgerton Garrison and Stephen A. Cobb at Memorial Hospital in El Paso County, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Ethan grew up in Texas, living in Irving, Sulphur Springs, Austin and Pflugerville. Ethan was a 2011 graduate of Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville, TX, graduating in the 1st Quartile. Ethan was a member of the Hendrickson Hawk Band, the Drama club, and many other interests and passions. After graduation Ethan worked for Applebee’s and eventually worked himself into the management program, then later moved to Chuy’s until April 2016.
In May, 2016 he moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado to be closer to his grandmother Ruth Edgerton. He worked for Wells Fargo from May, 2016 until 2020, starting as a Teller and later a Personal Banker.
Ethan had many friends from High School and everywhere he went he was loved and accepted. His friends knew Ethan as a loyal and loving friend, always putting others needs in front of his own and they never knew him to not have a smile and kind word. He loved to be with his friends, take his trail bike and ride around the trails of the Texas Hill Country, play the many online and video game systems with his friends and family. Word of Ethan’s death shocked his family and friends. In Colorado, in his spare time Ethan loved to take drives in the mountains and see God’s wonder and work. He bought a Harley Davidson Motorcycle in August of 2019, thinking of the Harley’s his grandfather Wayne Cobb had when his dad was small. Ethan loved his family, friends and the outdoors. His favorite holiday was Christmas, partially for the Blue Spruce trees, the birth of Jesus and it was always a time that brought the family together.
Ethan is preceded in death by his grandfather A. Wayne “Paw Paw” Cobb, his grandmother N. Delores “Dee” “Gram” Cobb, his grandfather Richard “Reggie” Edgerton, and Uncle Bruce Edgerton. He is survived by his father, Stephen A. and stepmother Jeni F Cobb of Grand Prairie, TX, mother Rebecca Edgerton-Garrison and husband (stepfather) Donn Garrison of Colorado Springs, brother Jeremy R Cobb, wife Rose Cobb, nephew Teddy Cobb of Leander, TX, and sister Elissa M Cobb, and nephew Phoenix of Colorado Springs, grandmother E. Ruth Edgerton of Colorado Springs, step-brother Samuel Garrison, and the many friends and extended family.
Due to the Covid-19/Coronavirus pandemic, there will not be a traditional funeral service. Ethan’s cremated remains will remain in Colorado. A memorial will be held at a later date for his family in Texas and another for his family in Colorado with the restrictions for the number of those gathering and the shelter in place orders have been lifted. A post and invitation for those memorials will be announced later by his family. In the future a fund or trust will be set up in Ethan’s honor to help with Suicide prevention and education, as well as a scholarship sometime in the near future.

Psalms 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
