E. Ruth Leatherwood joined her Lord and Savior July 3, 2020 in Arlington, TX. She was born April 8, 1934 in Clovis, New Mexico to father, Willis Severe and mother, Iris Severe (Russell). Ruth was a faithful member of Plymouth Baptist church where she sang in the choir. She had many hobbies she loved which included cross stitching, beading, and puzzle books.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leatherwood, daughter, Donna Teston, father, Willis Severe, and mother, Iris Severe (Russell). She is survived by her son, Lowell Hyman; daughter, Rita McNew; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends who love and will miss her dearly.
Family ask donations to be made in Ruth’s name to the National Kidney Foundation of Texas.
