Dong Nguyen Ha of Lewisville, Texas passed away in Denton, Texas on October 18, 2020 at the age of 51. He was born to father, Hao Van Ha, and mother, Huong Nguyen on October 20, 1968 in Tam Ky Vietnam. Dong is a 19-year brain cancer survivor. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Texas Medical Branch, and graduate school at the University of North Texas. He loved football, especially his Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. Dong enjoyed cycling, running, and volunteering. He will be sincerely missed by all his family, friends, and fellow worshippers at Irving Bible Church.

Dong is preceded in death by his father, Hao Van Ha. Left to cherish Dong’s memory is mother, Huong Nguyen; stepfather, Dung Ho; brother, Thinh Ha and wife Linda; sister, Mymy Ha and husband Carlos; nephew, Lucas Jet; niece, Halsey; and numerous other family and friends.

Family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to National Brain Tumor Society, The Denton Food Bank. or The Thrive group at Irving Bible Church.
