Dennis C. Byers age 76 of Irving, Texas passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer and was surrounded by his family on August 9, 2020. He was born to Father Charles Byers and mother Beryle Byers August 19, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Rancho High School in Las Vegas Nevada in 1961. Dennis married the love of his life Charlotte Furr June 10, 1983 in Irving, Texas. He enjoyed watching sports and gameshows. Dennis cherished playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved his dog Dallas and enjoyed chasing him around the house. Dennis loved his faith, family and friends and will be deeply missed by all. He was truly one of a kind and never meet a stranger.

Dennis is preceded in death by father, Charles Byers. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Charlotte Byers; mother, Beryle Byers; daughter, Gayle Taylor; son, Dennis A. Byers; daughter, Pam Stinson and husband Brett; daughter, Barbara Hand-Pitts; daughter, Brenda Graham; daughter, LaDonna Chambly; son, Eddie Don Williams and wife Storme; daughter, April William; son, Michael Williams and wife Shannon; sister, Mary Warren; sister, Donna Mann and husband Jeff; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and God children.

A gathering will be held for Dennis August 22, 2020 from 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. for a celebration of his life, sharing photos, memories, and funny stories.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
