Obituary for Debbie Elizondo (Randle)

Debbie Elizondo, age 54, died peacefully Sunday, August 18, 2019. She was born in in Irving, Texas to Charles Earnest and Carolyn Ruth (Burkett) Randle on Saturday, April 3, 1965. Debbie was a loving and wonderful mother, wife, aunt, founder, friend and much more to many people. She had a passion for children and young adults with special needs and worked for many years as a special education teacher. In 2012 Debbie founded Emma’s House after struggling for years with after school care for her daughter Emma. She found herself worrying where Emma, who with her disability, would go after school when she aged out of daycare at 13, and had been approached by other parents with this same worry. Debbie has left her mark on this world and forever changed the lives of everyone who where blessed to meet her. She is preceded in death by her son Anthony I. Elizondo and father Charles Earnest Randle. Left to cherish her memory are husband of 27 years, Nacho Elizondo Jr.; daughter Jessica Russell; daughter Emma Elizondo; daughter Valerie Balensiefen and husband Paul; daughter Vickie Garza and husband Daniel; mother Carol Randle; sister Rebecca Randle; brother Eric Randle; six grandchildren Paige, Bethany, Evan, Evy, Connor, and Kenna as well as numerous extended loving family and friends.
**Debbie spent the last seven years being an advocate for people with disabilities and did a lot of fund raising to keep the center going. It is now time to fundraiser for her family to cover her funeral and medical expenses.
Her son, Anthony, passed away December 21, 2018. His passing was sudden and tragic and caused a great amount of pain and stress for her and her husband, both emotionally and financially, as one never plans on having to bury his or her own child. Now, her husband Ignacio (my brother) finds himself having to bury his wife 8 months after they buried their son.
Please find it in your heart to donate any amount you can to help with Debbie’s funeral and medical expenses during this most devastating time.
