David Patrick Sullivan, age 67, departed this world unexpectedly on Friday, April 19, 2019. He was born in Paris, Texas, to George Patrick and Lovey Christine (Stanley) Sullivan on June 14, 1951. David was the eldest of eight children.

As a doting grandfather, David was so very proud of his grandchildren. He stressed the value of education and was always looking for creative ways to teach them new things. His quirky sense of humor and bright smile will always be remembered.

David was a loyal Teamster and a proud member of Local 745. He forged numerous friendships with fellow Teamsters and was a faithful member of the brotherhood.

David was preceded in death by his father George Sullivan and two brothers,
Michael and Andy Sullivan. Left to cherish his memory are his mother Christine
Sullivan; son Isaac Sullivan and wife Jennifer; daughter Lovey Turner and husband
Michael; five grandchildren, Roman, Sarah, Cathryn, Silas, and Sawyer; five step-
grandchildren, Jordan, Justin, Cody, Tory, and Michaela; brother Luke Sullivan and
wife Leslie; brother Tim Sullivan and wife Deirdre; sister Kathy Austin; sister
Christine Vaughn and husband Jeff; sister Eileen Smith along with numerous
extended family and loving friends.

A memorial service to celebrate David’s life will be 11 a.m., Thursday, April 25,
2019, at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Irving, Texas.

The family request memorial donations be made to Hope Irving Church by mailing it to 1646 W. Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75061 in David’s honor.
