Dale Naylor of Irving passed away September 2, 2019. Dale was born on July 3, 1930 in Portis, Kansas to George Ellis Naylor and Jennie Lucille (Limbocker) Naylor. Dale will be remembered as a very generous man who cared for others. Although he had a temper at times; he possessed a great sense of humor and people loved working for him. He loved animals but was generally hard on squirrels. Dale enjoyed traveling and meeting with his RV club. He had a passion for trains and spent some time working for the Santa Fe Railroad. Dale proudly served his country in the United States Army prior to working as a Comptroller in the Oil Industry. Two things Dale really lived for were washing cars and pouring concrete. He was a loyal and fiercely devoted husband and was a wonderful father who set strong examples for his family. Dale adored his family and his influence will likely ripple out a good distance. He was a member of The First Christian Church in Irving. Dale is preceded in death by his parents and twin sister Darlene Bee. He leaves behind to cherish his memory wife Leta “Reta” Naylor of Irving; daughter Linda Morgan and husband Joe of Irving; son Ted Naylor and wife Judy of Eagle, Nebraska and numerous other loving family and devoted friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at First Christian Church, 114 West Grauwyler Road in Irving. Inurnment with Military honors to be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas. Memorial donations in Dale’s honor may be made to the First Christian Church in Irving or an animal rescue of your choice.
