Obituary for Charles Koerth

Charles Koerth of Irving passed away July 7, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 29, 1944 in Electra, Texas. Charles will be remembered as a successful businessman with a great sense of humor who loved his family and friends. He was a wise man and was cherished by his family. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a Free Mason. He was civically involved with the City of Grand Prairie serving on the Flood Control Committee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ruth (Rhynes) Koerth aunts Cleo Rhynes, Jeannie Rhynes and Granny Rhynes. Charles leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife of 57 years Shirley Koerth; sons Charlie & Danny Koerth; grandchildren Tabitha Theriot and husband Brian; Michael Koerth, Trey Koerth and wife Taylor; Danielle Koerth and Hudson Koerth; great-grandchildren Charlie, Addilyn and Knox; sisters Diane Emling and Glenda Thames; brother Melvin Koerth and wife Dedra and many extended family members and loving friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with a committal service with military honors to follow at 12:30 pm at The Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
