Obituary for Ann Woolsey
Charelett “Ann” Woolsey, age 56, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
Ann was born January 28, 1964 in Dallas, TX to Thomas Marion and Lottie Charelett (Fulcher) Coffman. She was a 1982 graduate of Irving High School where she met her husband Kerry Woolsey and married December 4, 1982. Ann was a hairdresser for many years before working in the corporate world at Kclinic as a purchasing manager in the 90s and early 2000s. In 2005, Ann opened her salon at South Colleyvine Ranch Retirement Home where she went back to pursuing her cosmetology career.
She was a faithful steward of all that was entrusted to her. She raised her family and served at Pleasant Glade Baptist Church for many years. She taught her family the meaning of love, friendship, courage, hard work and determination. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Lottie Coffman. Her Momma and Daddy, Melba and Horace Woolsey. Her brother Bill Coffman and brothers-in-law Jeff Woolsey and John Buenau.
She is survived by her husband, Kerry Woolsey, of 37 years. Daughters Kerra Gilbertson and husband Dale, and Kendra Carter and husband Sam. Her 6 grandchildren: Kennedy (12), Kayson (9), Kamryn (6), Karson (4), Kaleb (4), Karlynn (4). Her brother Wayne Coffman and sister Evelyn Householder, her sister in law and best friend Pam Baker and husband Johnny. As well as numerous family and friends.
