Chanh Manivanh, age 74, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019. She was born in Laos to Phan and Jeng Thaimany on Thursday, October 19, 1944. Chanh enjoyed watching tv and movies, but favorite times were spent fishing, gardening in her vegetable garden and spending time with her family. Her family lovingly remembers how she would find joy in cooking and baking for them. Chanh was founding and longtime member of the S. MacArthur Laos Missionary Church. She is preceded in death by her parents Phan and Jeng Thaimany, husband of over 30 years, Boumma Manivanh, and brother Kane Thaimany. Left to cherish her memory are son Alex Manivanh and wife Allie; daughter Soubanh Manivann-Lee and Husband Herman; son Ty Manivanh and wife Tradona; son David Manivanh and wife Jackie; grandchildren D’Mitri, Taylor, Aryanna, Trevor, Xiomora, Mylaani, Emma and Ethan; brothers Xai Keobandith, Vien Laophiou and Noy Laophiou along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and loving friends. The family will receive friends between 8:00 and 10:00 am, Monday, May 6, 2019 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd in Irving. A funeral service will begin at 10am, Monday May 6, 2019 with an interment immediately following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd.
