Obituary for Chalida "Touy" Pheerathoranis (Borchardt)

Chalida “Touy” Pheerathoranis (Borchardt), passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, surrounded by her loving family, after the onset of an unexpected illness. She was born on Sunday, September 16, 1951 in Nakhon, Ratchasima Thailand to Perapol Pheerathoranis and Pratum Barisi. Touy earned a Masters Degree in Biology from the University of Bangkok. After graduation she began her career teaching high school students, retiring after 25 years of service. Touy was not one to sit idle in her retirement, so she took her love of travel and her thirst for knowledge and moved to Germany and began a new career as a healer in massage therapy. This exciting endeavor led her to the United States where she opened her own massage clinic and taught continued education classes for the massage therapy industry. Touy, in her spare time, enjoyed cooking, tending to her plants and perfecting her already skilled seamstress talents. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend who’s passing has deeply saddened the lives of those who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father and one brother. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Pratum Barisi; Loving husband of 5 years and best friend for 10, Larry Borchardt; daughter, Pimpaga Ekphon; son, Ratchata Krongnid; step daughter, Vickie Malone and husband Rickey; step daughter, Diane Dillingham and husband Corey; grandsons: Calvin and Justin; step grandchildren: Austin and Kayle Malone; Aaron Hess, and Kye Dillingham; 10 Siblings, as well as numerous family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Touy’s life will be held at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. In Irving on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 12:00pm.
