Carolyn L. Tate, of Irving, Texas passed away July 28, 2020 at the age of 78. She was born April 16, 1942 to Leonard and Dorothy Pryor in Irving, Texas. She spent many years as an Interline Clerk Merchants Freight Line, and Central Freight Lines. Carolyn was a loving mother who always liked spending time in her garden. She found great joy in seeing her children, grandchildren and especially her great grandchildren.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her loving husband, Coy E. Tate; daughter, Brenda Tate; and parents, Leonard, and Dorothy Pryor. She is survived by, sons: Kelly Tate and wife Betty; and Timothy Tate; brothers: Leonard Ray Pryor and wife Sandy; and Gerald Pryor and wife Martha; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends who will miss Carolyn dearly.

A family viewing will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Brown’s Memorial Chapel 707 North MacArthur Blvd. Irving TX, 75061. A graveside service for Carolyn will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens 1413 E. Irving Blvd. Irving TX, 75060.
