Carla Jean Hofer, age 65, died on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Carla was born on December 30, 1953 in Iowa Falls, Iowa to Arthur Leo Greene and Gladys Verdelle (Akers) Greene. Carla was the matriarch of the family and the glue that held everyone together throughout the years. She was considered a true “Angel on earth” by those that loved and knew her well. Carla enjoyed serving her family. She took care of the home and was a great cook. Her homemade beef-tips and rice, King’s Ranch, Goulash, and Chili were always fan favorites. Carla leaves her family with many fond memories and plenty of wonderful recipes to pass on to the generations ahead. Carla is preceded in death by her husband Peter Hofer; parents Arthur and Gladys; brothers James Greene and Jerry Greene; sister Pamela Rodgers. Left to cherish her memory are Peggy Rodgers, Patricia Priske, Penny Grimstead; daughter Kari Ann Priske; grandbabies Kaylee Breanne and Brayden Duane; as well as many other generations of loving family members. Services for Carla will be scheduled at a later date and time. The family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00pm, Friday November 22, 2019 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd to celebrate Carla’s life and share stories of the impact and love she had on our lives.
