Carl Edward Cole of Irving, TX passed away June 1, 2020 at the age of 66 after a brave battle with cancer. He was born to parents, Carl G. Cole and Bernice Steele May 15, 1954 in Brownsville, TX. Carl proudly served in the United State Air Force from June 22, 1972 – April 30, 1994, retiring as a Master Sergeant after 22 years. After his retirement from the Air Force he opened and ran his own business, Carl’s Repair Service. Carl married his loving wife Carolyn Matthews on December 30, 2000 in Summerville, SC. He was a member of the 41st MAS (Fighting 41st) Alumni, whom reunited every 2 years and was a part of the Desert Caballeros. Some of Carl’s hobbies included sports shooting, trail rides with the Desert Caballeros, and hunting and canoeing.

Carl is preceded in death by father, Carl G. Cole, and stepfather, James M. Steele. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cole; mother, Bernice Steele; daughter Stephanie Cole and husband Brandon Gordon; stepson, Jason Willis and wife Deni Bracey; sister, Janice Kay Cole; brother, David W. Cole; grandson, Jakoby; and numerous other family and friends who will miss Carl dearly.
