Obituary for Brian Patrick Hightower

In memory of Brian Patrick Hightower. Brian passed to his heavenly home on April 7, 2019. The love he had in God were shown by the example of the life he has left. He was a man of integrity, a man of his word, was honest, dependable, and hard working. Whether at work or his regular day to day life he always went beyond what was required or expected of him. Most of his adult life was spent caring for others whether it was family or friends. He was proud of his service to his country while serving in the US Army, serving three terms. These last few months he was planning and dreaming of retirement in a few years, and an easier life ahead with his wife. He loved the ocean and always felt at peace when he was near it. His favorite Bible verse was Psalm 23. We will miss you Brian; but will carry you and the example you have left in our hearts always and forever. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me by still waters. He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surley goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23.

A memorial celebration of Brian’s life will be held at 3:30pm on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas.
