Anita Joyce Tucker, affectionately known as Joyce, was a very loving woman who possessed a great sense of humor. Joyce also had a very generous spirit and to know her was to love her. Earlier in life, she worked at Delta Airlines and retired after 21 years of employment. She enjoyed spending time with her family more than anything else. Joyce was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed watching Texas Rangers baseball when football season was over. Joyce was a wonderful grandmother who absolutely adored her grandson Daniel. She was also an awesome mom who was willing to invest in her family. She prioritized those close to her and had a knack for making people feel special. Today, Joyce is reunited with her husband of over 52 years whom she dearly missed. Joyce set a powerful example of what it meant to serve those around her, and the world would benefit greatly to follow suit.

Joyce is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Tucker, and parents, John and Lilly Golson. She is survived by son, John Tucker of Euless, TX, grandson, Daniel Tucker of Richardson, TX, and many loving friends.

Family requests that, in leu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
