Obituary for Alta Sue Wynne

Alta Sue Wynne passed away peacefully August 13, 2020 at the age of 78. She was born to father T.A. Mussett and mother Winnie Mussett January 18, 1942 in Beeville, TX.

Sue was a proud co-founder of Dallas Carpet Binding with her son and worked for 32 years helping bring the business to the success it is today. She enjoyed going to work every day and visiting with customers who became friends.

She was a faithful member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church as well as guild leader and member.

Sue's list of favorites in her life were in this exact order 1. Jesus Christ and her church 2. Family and friends 3. Sugar and 4. Vacations

Sue always put her family and children first. Always providing guidance, help, support, love, and time. Her favorite time of year was Christmas as it brought the family together and lots of treats with sugar. Sue loved to travel, especially taking cruises. Sue was a devote Catholic and loved her church and church members. Sue loved cooking desserts for all to enjoy whether it was a special occasion or just to try out a recipe. She loved enjoying a Hi-Tea. Whether it was putting on a Hi-Tea for her granddaughters wedding shower, someone’s birthday or traveling to British Columbia to enjoy one like the queen she was. Sue was a "second" mom to many people because of her compassion, forgiveness but mostly her love.

Catholic Memorial Mass: 11:00a.m, Thursday August 27, 2020 Holy Family of Nazareth 2323 Cheyenne St. Irving TX, 75062. Open to the public, social distancing and masks are required.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church.
